Welcome to The Williams Oz Travels (WOT!) website
The first rule of WOT! club is… every time you see ‘WOT!’, you have to shout it out loudly, rather than reading it in your head. Trust us, it will make you feel great! (and it’s good marketing for our site to make sure everyone near you hears about it 😊)
We’re a young family of four and we’re travelling around Australia for more than 3 months at the start of 2018. This site will explain our journey and we hope to inspire you to take a big step to taking on a big adventure of your own. We’ll hope to provide some useful hints and tips to help you along the way.
Fun fact #1 – The site was originally called ‘The Williams Australian Travels’. But Catherine didn’t think that the acronym was appropriate for a family-friendly blog
Are you a ‘WOT!’ virgin?
If it’s your first time here, then get to know us a bit better by heading over to our Why?, What? and Who? pages. There you’ll find out why we’re writing a blog, what we’re planning to cover and who we are.
And we’ll keep updating our Top Tips page with useful information that we’ve learnt along the way.
Been here before?
If it’s not your first time here, you just want to hear about our travels or you don’t want to know any more about us than you already do, then head over to our Stories page, where you can see our blogs.
And make sure to head over to our Stats page to see our ‘live’, ‘interactive’ map showing our current location. You can also see some facts about our travels so far, including…
- How many miles have we travelled?
- How many different animals have we almost been eaten by?
- How many tantrums have been thrown?
